3 7/8" Trout reels

The latest addition to the DG Reels lineup, the 3 7/8" model is purpose-built to handle hard-fighting Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and other small to medium-sized species in your favorite streams.

As more anglers discover the finesse and fun of centrepin fishing for smaller fish, the demand for a compact, responsive reel has grown—leading to the creation of this new offering. This is also an excellent option for introducing young anglers to the art of centrepin fishing.

Slated for release in early 2026, the 3 7/8" is still in the final stages of development. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this exciting new reel to life.
