ABOUT DG

DG Reels is a bench-built centrepin reel manufacturer based in Chilliwack, British Columbia. I strive to maintain a blend of passion, precision, and dedication—qualities that are at the core of everything I do.

What began as a personal hobby quickly evolved into a growing venture. With almost 20 years of machining experience, I set out to build my first centrepin reel nearly a decade ago. That project sparked a deeper interest, and with the encouragement and input from the fishing community, DG Reels was born.

Drawing on both my technical expertise and obsession with centrepin fishing, I’ve developed several reel models over the years. Many of the features and improvements found in DG Reels today are the direct result of feedback from dedicated anglers across North America. That support and collaboration continues to inspire new ideas and designs.

I’m always working on ways to improve—so a reel you purchased from me years ago might look quite different from what I offer today. But no matter when you bought your reel, I proudly support every product I’ve ever built.
